CGI is a custom sheet metal fabricator of light to medium gauge material. We specialize in short lead times for high volume production. CGI can produce sheet metal assemblies & subassemblies using stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized, cold rolled or hot rolled material from 24 gauge to 0.5Ã¢ÂÂ thick. Key equipment runs 24-7 utilizing auto loaders and unloaders. Additional in-house capabilities exist for MIG & TIG welding, spot welding, riveting and fastener insertion. We have expertise in many industries, such as OEM Products, Permanent Displays, Lighting, Agricultural and Medical.

CGIÃ¢ÂÂs investment in automation allows us to provide short lead times for high volume production. CGI typically has production runs exceeding 100 units, most significantly higher. This keeps our pricing competitive for our customers.

Both of CGI's lasers can accommodate a maximum sheet size of 60" x 120" and are capable of cutting up to 1" thick material. Our CNC Turret can punch up to 10 gauge with a maximum sheet size of 50" x 120". We can shear up to 1/4" thick material up to 12' long and form 1/4" thick material up to 10' long.

As part of an overall order, CGI cut and form tubing for assemblies. CGI does not have the necessary equipment to manufacture wire components; however, we have trusted manufacturing sub-contractors who provide these services to us.

CGI outsources our powder coating requirements. We have built strong relationships with reputable finishers who are at our facility daily delivering finished sheet metal components and assemblies.Ã¢ÂÂ¨ We utilize trusted sub-contractors who have a successful track record in providing a variety of outside services to us. These business allies allow us to fully accommodate the needs of our customers, while still maintaining the high quality they expect from CGI.

CGI needs a drawing in order to provide a quote. We can provide a quote based on a PDF file, but we would require a DXF, DWG or SolidWorks file for production purposes. When submitting an RFQ, please indicate all quantities for which pricing is required and whether a prototype or first article submission is needed. If we are successful in earning your business, we will assume the quantities quoted will be the quantities ordered and released at the same time.
